As one of only a handful of students (most commonly known as the “Famous Five”) to have been promoted to the rank of black-belt under the legendary Rolls Gracie prior to his untimely death in 1982, Marcio began studying Jiu Jitsu at the Gracie Academy in Copacabana, Rio de Janiero in 1975 at the urging of his childhood best friend Mauricio Gomes. He has more than 40 years experience is currently the highest ranking instructor in New England.

Brad is a second degree black belt and the founder/head instructor of Soulcraft Hamden. A 20 year veteran teacher and competitor, Brad works tirelessly to help his students improve on and off the mat. He also travels abroad and teaches extensively around the world.
